Lex and Lorelai had a fun adventure together playing on the floor today. Mama is going back to work soon- it is so nice to see big sister and baby brother getting along so well!

Lex slept for eight hours thru the night last night! In fact, he probably would've slept longer if his mom wasn't such a worrier. When Mama work up and realized Lex hadn't eaten in a while, she ran into his room and shook him a little to make sure Lex was still breathing. Lex woke and was happy to have his breakfast  and cuddle time with Mama.

We went to Dutch Wonderland today with the Stebbins' family for some Halloween fun! Lex was beside himself with excitement. All bundled up and warm, he was more than happy to wait while big sister got on ride after ride.

Lex is quite the flirt. He loves to chat with young ladies, gaining their complete attention. 

Tonight is Lex's first night in his own room and in his crib.

Lex was very alert today and looking for some interaction and entertainment. Lorelai insisted that Lex wanted to play with the Glowworms, Minnie Mouse, Lambie, and of course his big sister. She could tell that he wanted to lay on the floor with her and play with all of them AND get under blankets to be comfy cozy with his big sister.

A few days late, but we are putting Aunt Col's present to good use! Lex is 1 month old. Look how small he is next to Staypuft! He is Mama's Little Man.

Lex loves to make faces back at Mama when we are nursing. He is so full of smiles, gurgles, and laughs. His favorite thing to do is mirror someone sticking out their tongue.

Lex loves to spend time in his swing, all cuddled into a blanket with his binky. Sometimes he drifts off to sleep and sometime he just swings, chatters out loud, and looks around.
Lex is a very happy, agreeable little man.

We went to Lex's one month doctor's appointment today. The doctor said that he was growing big and strong-- A+! Lex likes to be stimulated and is very active and alert.

He had one shot while at the appointment too. Lex was not a fan. Lorelai graciously took a lollipop and sticker for his troubles.

Lorelai asked Daddy if she could hold her brother this morning after breakfast. She made sure Lex was comfy-cozy by insisting that they share a Flyers blanket as well.

Lorelai insisted that baby brother Lex play on the floor with her today after lunch. Lorelai loves to share her toys with Lex, often creating piles surround her brother with play time options.

Play time for Lex is usually at night after Lorelai has gone to bed, then he has rule of the floor to wiggle as much as he wants to.

Happy 1 Month Birthaversary, Lex!
You are growing so big and so fast. Nana said today how amazing and impressive your strength is already. You're learning how to control your head and can really see the concentration on your face when you are interested in something new.

Lex was restless all day. He couldn't seem to get comfortable-- between eating and burping and napping he was mostly cranky. They can't all be banner days!

Today, Lex's shirt said that he is "a hug waiting to happen." Lorelai and Mama could not agree with that idea more. Lex is a wonderful, warm hug. The need to hug him will just sneak up on us all the time.

We went up to Mama's work today. Lex made the rounds and showed off his supreme cuteness.
After dinner, Lex played on his mat under the careful eye of his big sister. He is getting better control of his arms. While laying under the lion, he successfully made him swing around over a dozen times. Boom!

We had Gallagher Family Fun tonight at Great Aunt Reen's house. It was nice to spend some time and introduce Lex to more family members. He is really making the rounds this week and was quite the charmer. Aside from spitting up on Aunt Mo, Lex was the perfect, cuddly little man.

Lex got in some Tummy Time tonight. Lorelai was beside herself with excitement to have Lex on the floor with her. Lex was pretty calm about the whole thing, eventually settling down to take a quick nap now that the floor was helping his binky stay in.
He is getting so strong-- he holds his head up with minimal flailing now.

Lorelai continues on her quest to be Lex's best friend. Lex has been pretty agreeable to big sister's attention. Lex can sleep thru most noises including but not limited to his sister calling "wake up, baby Lex", iPad videos, and songs sung by a 2.5 year old little girl. Clearly, Lex has inherited Mama's sleeping skills.

Pop pop, Gigi, Uncle Spike, and Aunt Erin are home from their trip to Europe so we went to see them! Lex was excited to get cuddled by more of his family. It was the second time he has ever seen them! Welcome back!

Tonight was the first game of the Flyer's season, 2014. Daddy, Lorelai, and Lex watched the Flyers v. Bruins game together. Let's go, Flyers!

For the most part, Lex just wanted to be held today. In the evening, he was content to snuggle in with sister, Lorelai, while big sister shared her book and heart blanket. Lorelai made sure her videos were something she thought Lex wanted to see and that her brother was comfy-cozy. They are best friends.

This morning, Lex wanted to cheer on his big sister while she peed on the potty! Lex is very proud of his big sister and Lorelai was thrilled that Lex was awake and wanted to cheer for her. Team work.

Tummy time! Lex wasn't a fan of being face down on the floor. He struggled really hard to try to turn over. He's going to be a big boy in no time.

Lex spends a good amount of his time sleeping. He isn't a big fan of the bright lights that are in the family room. Mama made him a temporary tent to keep that mean old light out of his eyes tonight while Lex slept between nursing.
