Lex has learned how to climb on to the couch from the floor all by himself. It is a very dangerous game that we play now.

We went to Uncle Spike and Aunt Erin's house tonight for dinner. Before eating, there were some games to play outside. Lex played on Gigi's corn-hole team. He did a pretty good job but mainly wanted to test the bean bags for flavor.

Lex has got this dinner thing in the bag. We do have to strip him down before eating but still-- flawless victory!

100% of the time, if Big Sister is doing something then Lex wants to do that thing too.

Happy Pop-pop Pizza Night. We moved the weekly family gatherings to Fridays now. It makes a nice cap to the week and start to the weekend. Having all the kids together can get quite noisy but we love to see them play.

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. Lex is one of the happiest little boys we have ever met. The camera sang "If You're Happy and You Know It" and wouldn't you know, Lex clapped right on queue.

Sometime Lex gets roped into big sister's hi-jinx, and sometimes it's like he volunteers.

A large box came in the mail this week. Coincidentally, we also enjoyed an episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood where Daniel and his friends imagine that their box is many different fun things to play with. Lorelai declared the box to be a spaceship. She and Daddy colored and drew designs on the sides. Lex boarded the ship with the pilot, his big sister, and the two enjoyed being pushed around the room by Daddy... er... the ship's engines.

Assumingly he likes the feel of the cold metal on his gums but possibly also he enjoys the danger he puts himself in by trying to chew on the knob under the table that Mama has her laptop on.

That little bugger, Lex. He is trying to be just like big sister including drinking big sister's milk. Lex! That's not nursings!

We had a family adventure tonight at BJs to do a little grocery shopping. Lorelai sang and danced while we shopped Lex around the store. There were some samples too but Lex is still a little too young for what they were offering. Lorelai was happy to tell him about what he was missing so he would know if he would like it in the future.

Lex had an appointment with his GI doctor today. He has made good progress and is getting bigger all the time though he is down from his last weigh in. Time to increase his calories by increasing the powder in formula bottles and offering Lex an extra bottle after nursing.

Today while playing in Nana's craft room, Lex made a very earnest attempt to climb her craft cart. That one is going to be a wild one- living up to his name already.

He's so proud. Lex has figured out the button on his light saber. Now his little cheeks glow blue or red while he's chewing on his favorite toy.

So full of mischief, this face. Lex loves to get up under Mama's computer and pull at the wires and drum on the couch.

He rarely cries for his bottle but Lex sure does love to drink them when they arrive.

Big sister and baby brother are playing kitties together. Lorelai is so excited for Lex to play with her and Lex is just excited to have her attention. They are an awesome team.

Lorelai wanted to teach Lex to pass the ball and play a game. He did a great job-- she is a wonderful teacher!

Our Lexing had his first Popsicle tonight at Nana's house. Mama was having a Popsicle with Lorelai after dinner and Lex seemed very interested in a taste. He would not let it out of his sight once he had a lick.
